Families gather, save your money, and take your kids on a staycation!
Yeah thats right. Apparently the new trend, instead of going somewhere on vacation, is to vacation where you live. I just heard about it on the news. I thought that the people on msnbc had made up the cheesy play on words "staycation" but apparently they didn't. In fact, about.com uses the word, and even has an article giving you the TOP 10 staycation strategies.
I love how number 10 is "Plan a real vacation" and says "If you've made it to the end of your staycation without killing each other or filing for divorce, you've earned yourselves a real vacation."
